  <aya id="1" text="I swear by the emissary winds, sent one after another (for men's benefit)," />
  <aya id="2" text="By the raging hurricanes," />
  <aya id="3" text="Which scatter clouds to their destined places," />
  <aya id="4" text="Then separate them one from another," />
  <aya id="5" text="Then I swear by the angels who bring down the revelation," />
  <aya id="6" text="To clear or to warn." />
  <aya id="7" text="Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass." />
  <aya id="8" text="So when the stars are made to lose their light," />
  <aya id="9" text="And when the heaven is rent asunder," />
  <aya id="10" text="And when the mountains are carried away as dust," />
  <aya id="11" text="And when the apostles are gathered at their appointed time," />
  <aya id="12" text="To what day is the doom fixed?" />
  <aya id="13" text="To the day of decision." />
  <aya id="14" text="And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is?" />
  <aya id="15" text="Woe on that day to the rejecters." />
  <aya id="16" text="Did We not destroy the former generations?" />
  <aya id="17" text="Then did We follow them up with later ones." />
  <aya id="18" text="Even thus shall We deal with the guilty." />
  <aya id="19" text="Woe on that day to the rejecters." />
  <aya id="20" text="Did We not create you from contemptible water?" />
  <aya id="21" text="Then We placed it in a secure resting-place," />
  <aya id="22" text="Till an appointed term," />
  <aya id="23" text="So We proportion it — how well are We at proportioning (things)." />
  <aya id="24" text="Woe on that day to the rejecters." />
  <aya id="25" text="Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself," />
  <aya id="26" text="The living and the dead," />
  <aya id="27" text="And made therein lofty mountains, and given you to drink of sweet water?" />
  <aya id="28" text="Woe on that day to the rejecters." />
  <aya id="29" text="Walk on to that which you called a lie." />
  <aya id="30" text="Walk on to the covering having three branches," />
  <aya id="31" text="Neither having the coolness of the shade nor availing against the flame." />
  <aya id="32" text="Surely it sends up sparks like palaces," />
  <aya id="33" text="As if they were tawny camels." />
  <aya id="34" text="Woe on that day to the rejecters." />
  <aya id="35" text="This is the day on which they shall not speak," />
  <aya id="36" text="And permission shall not be given to them so that they should offer excuses." />
  <aya id="37" text="Woe on that day to the rejecters." />
  <aya id="38" text="This is the day of decision: We have gathered you and those of yore." />
  <aya id="39" text="So if you have a plan, plan against Me (now)." />
  <aya id="40" text="Woe on that day to the rejecters." />
  <aya id="41" text="Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be amid shades and fountains," />
  <aya id="42" text="And fruits such as they desire." />
  <aya id="43" text="Eat and drink pleasantly because of what you did." />
  <aya id="44" text="Surely thus do We reward the doers of good." />
  <aya id="45" text="Woe on that day to the rejecters." />
  <aya id="46" text="Eat and enjoy yourselves for a little; surely you are guilty." />
  <aya id="47" text="Woe on that day to the rejecters." />
  <aya id="48" text="And where it is said to them: Bow down, they do not bow down." />
  <aya id="49" text="Woe on that day to the rejecters." />
  <aya id="50" text="In what announcement, then, after it, will they believe?" />
