  <aya id="1" text="By those (angels) who pull out (the souls of the disbelievers and the wicked) with great violence;" />
  <aya id="2" text="By those (angels) who gently take out (the souls of the believers);" />
  <aya id="3" text="And by those that swim along (i.e. angels or planets in their orbits, etc.)." />
  <aya id="4" text="And by those that press forward as in a race (i.e. the angels or stars or the horses, etc.)." />
  <aya id="5" text="And by those angels who arrange to do the Commands of their Lord, (so verily, you disbelievers will be called to account)." />
  <aya id="6" text="On the Day (when the first blowing of the Trumpet is blown), the earth and the mountains will shake violently (and everybody will die)," />
  <aya id="7" text="The second blowing of the Trumpet follows it (and everybody will be raised up)," />
  <aya id="8" text="(Some) hearts that Day will shake with fear and anxiety." />
  <aya id="9" text="Their eyes cast down." />
  <aya id="10" text="They say: &amp;quot;Shall we indeed be returned to (our) former state of life?" />
  <aya id="11" text="&amp;quot;Even after we are crumbled bones?&amp;quot;" />
  <aya id="12" text="They say: &amp;quot;It would in that case, be a return with loss!&amp;quot;" />
  <aya id="13" text="But only, it will be a single &lt;I&gt;Zajrah&lt;/I&gt; [shout (i.e., the second blowing of the Trumpet)]. (See Verse 37:19)." />
  <aya id="14" text="When, behold, they find themselves over the earth alive after their death," />
  <aya id="15" text="Has there come to you the story of Mûsa (Moses)?" />
  <aya id="16" text="When his Lord called him in the sacred valley of Tûwa," />
  <aya id="17" text="Go to Fir'aun (Pharaoh), verily, he has transgressed all bounds (in crimes, sins, polytheism, disbelief, etc.)." />
  <aya id="18" text="And say to him: &amp;quot;Would you purify yourself (from the sin of disbelief by becoming a believer)&amp;quot;," />
  <aya id="19" text="And that I guide you to your Lord, so you should fear Him?" />
  <aya id="20" text="Then [Mûsa (Moses)] showed him the great sign (miracles)." />
  <aya id="21" text="But [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] belied and disobeyed;" />
  <aya id="22" text="Then he turned his back, striving hard (against Allâh)." />
  <aya id="23" text="Then he gathered his people and cried aloud," />
  <aya id="24" text="Saying: &amp;quot;I am your lord, most high&amp;quot;," />
  <aya id="25" text="So Allâh, seized him with punishment for his last [i.e. his saying: &amp;quot;I am your lord, most high&amp;quot;) (see Verse 79:24)] and first [(i.e. his saying, &amp;quot;O chiefs! I know not that you have a god other than I&amp;quot; (see Verse 28:38)] transgression." />
  <aya id="26" text="Verily, in this is an instructive admonition for whosoever fears Allâh." />
  <aya id="27" text="Are you more difficult to create, or is the heaven that He constructed?" />
  <aya id="28" text="He raised its height, and He has equally ordered it," />
  <aya id="29" text="Its night He covers with darkness, and its forenoon He brings out (with light)." />
  <aya id="30" text="And after that He spread the earth;" />
  <aya id="31" text="And brought forth therefrom its water and its pasture;" />
  <aya id="32" text="And the mountains He has fixed firmly;" />
  <aya id="33" text="(To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle." />
  <aya id="34" text="But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.)," />
  <aya id="35" text="The Day when man shall remember what he strove for," />
  <aya id="36" text="And Hell-fire shall be made apparent in full view for (every) one who sees," />
  <aya id="37" text="Then, for him who &lt;I&gt;Taghâ &lt;/I&gt;(transgressed all bounds, in disbelief, oppression and evil deeds of disobedience to Allâh)." />
  <aya id="38" text="And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts)," />
  <aya id="39" text="Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire;" />
  <aya id="40" text="But as for him who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires, and lusts." />
  <aya id="41" text="Verily, Paradise will be his abode." />
  <aya id="42" text="They ask you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) about the Hour, - when will be its appointed time?" />
  <aya id="43" text="You have no knowledge to say anything about it," />
  <aya id="44" text="To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof?" />
  <aya id="45" text="You (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) are only a warner for those who fear it," />
  <aya id="46" text="The Day they see it, (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an afternoon or a morning." />
